Compassion
Ministries Compassion ministry is the
natural response of believers to the needs of other members
of the family of God and to those outside Christ. It
is driven by a vision for bringing glory to God through the
manifestation of His love for us to all peoples.
Compassion motivated by
love for God is a blend of providing for the needs of people
and providing them an opportunity to share spiritual
ministries and contribute to the health of the global body.

1 John 3:16-18 By this we
know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also
ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever
has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and
shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide
in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in
tongue, but in deed and in truth.

2:14-16 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he
has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If
a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16
and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and
filled,” but you do not give them the things which are
needed for the body, what does it profit?

6:8-10 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap
corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit
reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while
doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not
lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do
good to all, especially to those who are of the household of
faith.

an awareness of the needs of the global church and, whenever possible, serve as
a facilitator for ministries and individuals who are
interested in humanitarian and relief projects and to channel resources to

1 Cor. 12:18-20 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be 20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
