Mission Statement: This is a statement that sets forth the goals and purpose of the organization and serves as a guide in making critical decisions that effect the direction of the ministry.

Mission Statement of the Global Ministry program at *****To mobilize the membership to participate in partnerships with indigenous ministries in establishing and strengthening church planting movements and holistic ministry opportunities around the world.

Mobilizing

Every believer has been designed by God to have an active and significant role in the body.  ***** is committed to assisting each member to understand their giftedness and to provide an avenue whereby they will be able to participate in an aspect of the global ministry program.  The goal is to mobilize both the members and resources of ***** to facilitate national church planting movements through the development of Global Ministry Teams. These teams will mobilize prayer, develop funding sources, coordinate Journey teams, and develop life-on-life relationships with our national church-planting partners.

Partner Relationships

The development of partnership with indigenous ministries is a strategic way to serve the needs of the international church, and at the same time, strengthen the church to preach the Word of God to the lost, plant churches, and develop a church planting movement.  Partner relationships begin as spiritual partnerships and then progress to project or working partnerships.

Indigenous

The term indigenous implies something that is existing, growing or produced naturally in a particular region.  ***** believes that the church must be indigenous to a particular people and correspond to the cultural setting in which it is found.   ***** is committed to facilitating the development and strengthening of leadership, ministries and evangelization which is carried out by trained men and women within their own cultural contexts.

Church Planting Movements

***** desires to participate in helping indigenous church leadership equip believers for the development of a contextualized church planting movement.  A simple, concise definition of a Church Planting Movement (CPM) is a rapid and multiplicative increase of indigenous churches planting churches within a given people group or population segment.

Global Ministry

Rom. 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
