Mobilization of the church for the work of global ministry through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences throughout our community, and all the places ***** serves around the world.

It is generally accepted that each individual who makes up the Body of Christ, His universal Church, is responsible to get the message of Christ's salvation to the world. Each of us is called to be a "world Christian." We must be reminded, however, that over 90 percent of the references to the church in the New Testament are to the local church. God values the life and ministry of local churches, the structure through which He primarily works. His work is primarily accomplished via relationships in and through local churches. Therefore, to put it succinctly, God's mandate to reach the world is primarily to individual believers who together comprise local churches.  The Local Church’s Role in Mission, by Larry Reesor

OBJECTIVES

  • To encourage people to pray for all efforts of global ministry.
  • To inform people of the needs of the global church and what ***** is doing to meet those needs.
  • To challenge adults and youth to learn about and participate in the global ministry opportunities as God has prepared them.
  • To raise funds for mission outreach.

Examples of ways to mobilize the church:

Global Ministry

1 Cor. 12:12-13 For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 13 For also by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, even all were made to drink into one Spirit.
