God has richly blessed ***** with
spiritual, financial, material and human resources for the building
up of His Church both locally and around the world. It is our
desire to share a portion of these resources with partnering
ministries in order that the gospel will be proclaimed and local
church movements be developed and strengthened.
The following are guidelines which are
used to assist in establishing these partner relationships.
Both ministries:
-
desire to enter
into a spiritual, biblical community relationship. The
emphasis is on the development of opportunities for each member
to minister to the other in prayer, 'one-another' ministries,
and mutual encouragement.
-
are operating
under indigenous leadership, are self-governed
by a duly
constituted national body or board, and
maintain the indigenous nature of
the ministry.
-
subscribe to a common set of
foundational doctrines of Scripture.
-
are committed
to a mutual
trust relationship and a desire to
share complementary strengths and resources
with one-another.
-
have a passion
for the development of a church planting movement model of
ministry where the final criteria for evaluating the sharing of
resources will be based on the establishment of ministries which
are not based on a dependency model.
Specific
Ministry Settings:
-
Compassion
ministries are directed first to assist believers in need who
are a part of a partner relationship with *****. Sharing of
resources will then be directed to areas of ministry with which
members of ***** have participated in short-term projects.
-
Youth and
college ministries will be evaluated according to their
involvement with partner ministries and then with organizations
which are developing ministry leadership in other settings.
