Where do I get a passport?

Passports can be obtained from a Post Office or passport applications can be downloaded from internet sites www.G3visas.com  or www.travel.state.gov. The passport form must be presented and signed in person at an authorized passport acceptance facility. Birth certificates and 2 passport photos are required with applications.

Will I have to have any immunizations?

Most of the places we travel with our Global Ministry Journeys do recommend immunizations. For the most up to date information on what is needed for the area you are interested in you can call the Health Dept., or visit the CDC web site http://www.cdc.gov/travel.

How do I pay for the trip?

Participants are required to raise the necessary prayer and financial support for the trip. Support discovery training and deadlines are provided in the first training session. Any funds not raised by the deadlines must be covered by the individual team member. The Global Outreach Ministry of ***** is not responsible for covering the expenses of a team member.

What does the support cover?

The support you raise covers your travel costs, food, lodging, Visa, ministry expenses, and local ground transportation. Participants are responsible for passport, immunizations, personal needs and souvenirs.

Waiver Form?

Each participant will be required to sign a Release/Waiver Form releasing ***** and its leadership and local out-of-country leadership from liability.

What will the accommodations be like?

Accommodations will range from staying in peoples homes or ministry centers, to sleeping in tents, to the comfort of your own bed in hotels. Flexibility will be key for all participants.

What about insurance?

In addition to your personal insurance, Global Ministry will provide individual insurance for the dates you will be on your STJ. Although there will be limited medical benefits, the main purpose for this insurance is for emergency medical evacuation expense and for emergency reunion expense for a family member

Are their any age restrictions?

We have several journeys that are ideal for families. Many journeys can be planned that are an excellent for families and a way to introduce your children 10 & up to missions.

What about training?

Applications are due and training will begin 3 months prior to departure. ***** offers a very thorough cross-culture training and team building program. There will be 6 sessions, including an overnight Team Building Retreat, before your journey begins, as well as daily meetings while on the field. Once home, there will be a debriefing session and a picture party.

How do Global Ministry Journeys fit into Perimeter's Global Outreach Strategy?

***** partners with national church planters-believers that have a passion to see their country saturated with the Gospel through multiplying healthy churches. In these fields we are strategically involved through training national church planters and assisting church planting movements.

Global Ministry Journeys must feed our long-term efforts. Teams are primarily limited to our partner fields, which focus our efforts and deepen long-term relationships. We go to our partners asking if they would like a team to come and what they would like for us to do. Our partners are the ones with the passion and vision. They know the needs and struggles of the field. Therefore, our field partners are encouraged by Global Ministry Journey teams as they ensure the strategy fits into the long term goals.
