Global Ministry Staff Team
The Global Ministry Staff Team provides ongoing oversight and
direction to all aspects of *****'s Global Outreach efforts in the world. The staff's role is to mobilize, equip and enable lay
leaders to actually run the ministry. The staff team also researches
new ministry and partnership possibilities in addition to providing
logistical support for the Global Outreach Ministry.
Global Ministry Team (GMT)
The GMT is responsible for managing the affairs of the Global
Outreach Ministry at ***** within the limitations of the
mandate from the Leadership Team of *****. The GMT
sets budgets, approves spending, makes policies and determines the
overall direction of the Global Outreach Ministry.
The GMT
is structured like a board of directors with officers serving set
terms. The GMT is comprised of one representative from each of
*****'s partner ministries (the Non-Resident Missionary Team Leader)
and the Prayer Team leader. Other groups, such as Global Ministry
Journeys, Communications, and Campus Outreach, are represented on
the GMT, but are not voting members.
Global Ministry Common Cause Teams
Common cause teams are formed with a specific ministry focus. The
teams are small groups whose primary purpose is to use the members'
talents and gifts to bless and minister to others by serving. A team
may focus its attention on a country that has spiritual and physical
needs that members can help meet or a team might serve in ministry
areas such as: hospitality, event planning, communication or
writing.

Non-Resident Missionary Teams (NRMT)
As the role of North American missionaries change, ***** is placing
greater emphasis on the development of Non-Resident Missionary
Teams. NRMTs consist of individuals that have a passion for a
targeted geographic region or people group, do not live there
(non-resident) but really are missionaries to the region or people
group. In alignment with the Global Ministry Mission and Values,
NRMTs lead and direct evangelistic and church planting efforts in
the target region.
The
scope of the NRMT is two-fold. First, NRMTs equip and mobilize
resources within *****, and the USA, in support of the target region.
Secondly, they facilitate and enable accomplishment of the ministry
plans and goals on the field.
Global Ministry Journey Ministry Team
The purpose of the Global Ministry Journey Ministry Team is to
develop and lead *****'s Global Ministry Journey initiatives in order
to ensure maximum impact on the nations and *****. Currently, the
Global Ministry Journey Ministry Team is divided into three
sub-teams: Coaches, Trainers, and Follow-Up.

Coaches equip and assist the team leaders with the details and
logistics throughout the pre/on/post field process.

Trainers lead and facilitate training for Global Ministry
Journey Teams.

Follow-up serves as the primary link between Global Ministry
Journey participants and on-going ministry opportunities once teams
return home.
Spotlight Team
The Spotlight on Global Outreach is *****'s annual celebration of home
and world missions. The Spotlight team exists to lead, organize and
provide an excellent Spotlight that will effectively communicate to
the congregation God's heart for the nations and *****'s response to
the opportunity of world evangelization. Sub-teams of the Spotlight
include: Communications, Facility Decorations, Children, Prayer,
Resource Table, Communities, and Follow-up.
Communication Team
The purpose of the Communication Team is to accurately and
efficiently communicate the purpose, values, mission, goals and
opportunities of the Global Outreach Ministry to the ***** body and
beyond through creative and motivating methods. The scope of this
team includes: The Global Ministry Website, Window on the World, *****
Press, Global Ministry Field Communications, as well as brochures
and annual reports.
Global Ministry Advocates
Global Ministry Advocates are active members of a ***** community,
such as a Neighborhood Congregation or Seasons of Life Community,
that have a heart for the nations. Global Ministry Advocates inform
and involve their communities in opportunities to impact both
Atlanta and the world.
Prayer Teams
Believing that prayer gives power to missions, many of the Global
Ministry Common Cause Teams have prayer networks and distribute
updates on a regular basis. In addition to these individual groups,
there is also a Global Ministry Prayer Team that stays current on
general Global Outreach prayer concerns.
