Specific needs to be addressed by the Working Partnership Agreement

  • What is the need to be addressed by the Working Partnership Agreement?

  • Why this need is not being met as a part of the current ministry program?

  • How was this need first recognized within the current ministry program and what plans have been made to fulfill this need?

Specific Goals of the Working Partnership Agreement

  • What are the short-term goals that must be accomplished to begin to meet the agreed upon need? [Those personnel, material and financial resources, and organizational structures which must be in place to begin to accomplish the desired short-term goal.]

Communication

  • What type of information and reports of progress of the project and the accomplishment of the established goals need to be communicated between partners?

  • How are regular reports of progress of the project and the accomplishment of the established goals communicated between partners, phone, mail, email?

Financial commitment of each partner

  • How will the financial accountability be maintained between the two partners?

  • How much / what percentage will each partner contribute to the partnership?

    • Each member of a partnership should contribute an equitable amount to the accomplishment of the goal of the partnership.  [An equitable amount means that all parties give at the same sacrificial rate.  A church in the US may give significantly more than a church in a Two-Thirds World country, without the same degree of sacrifice, because of the disparity which may exist between the economies of the countries.]

  • How will finances be transferred between the parties in the agreement?

  • How often will the financial accounts be reviewed by the partners?

Modifying / Terminating the Working Partnership Agreement

  • What is the proposed ending date of the Working Partnership Agreement?

  • How can the Working Partnership Agreement be modified, renewed or extended?

  • What are the procedures for terminating the Working Partnership Agreement?

  • How are exceptions and new areas of concern are determined?

The fulfillment will result in a reproducible model of ministry

  • How will the newly established ministry be able to sustain itself financially without long-term external funding?

  • How will the outcome of the goal create a situation where no dependency is developed on the part of one of the members of the agreement?

Global Ministry

1 Cor. 12:12-13 For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 13 For also by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, even all were made to drink into one Spirit.
